When the opportunity to move to Raleigh was presented to our family, it was greeted with a lot of apprehension. We decided to grab the opportunity and plunge into a city of which we knew nothing. Our first goal was to find a home for our family. This meant we needed a realtor. Of course, not being from the area we knew of none. This was when Jim, a stranger to us, came into our unsettled life. He was recommended by a family member. First and foremost, Jim was knowledgeable of the area.  He guided us through all parts of Raleigh. He walked through many , many homes. Note, I was not an easy client to satisfy. I desired a good neighborhood, well-built home and most importantly a great school system for my daughter. Jim was always there to give me the pros and the cons and always backed it up with some form of documentation. For all of this, I am extremely grateful to him. He helped find the home of our dreams. When we became interested in moving to the Cary area we contacted Keller-Williams and were put in touch with Jim O’Donnell. On our first trip to the area Jim met with us at the office to get to know us and to ascertain what we were interested in. He spent the first visit with us showing us some houses, but more importantly showing us the area and getting us acquainted with the area. Jim is very knowledgeable about the triangle area and took the time to show us what a lovely area it is. Before our subsequent trips Jim would send us many listings of houses that he thought we would be interested in and we would chose, e-mail him back and when we got here he had a schedule worked out. He spent a great amount of time with us on our trips till we decided what we wanted. We decided on new construction and Jim was right on top of the construction. He made many trips to the site to check on the progress and also to take pictures for us. Jim has helped us with many things along the way, from finding the house to getting a construction inspector in before our final walk through. I couldn't have asked for a better realtor. I'm a first-time homebuyer with absolutely no experience of buying a home. There was only one thing I was certain of- I wanted out of my parent's home and into my own. In May of 2008 I just finished my first year teaching in Cary and saved just enough money to buy a town home

At all times Jim kept my best interests in mind and even saved me $5,000 towards designing my brand new home. Without that kind of assistance, I would be extremely in over my head right now

Throughout the process Jim continued to assist me in making any major decisions dealing with not only the construction of my home, but financing, and furnishing.
